Just seven minutes from the plaza, visitors will enjoy a tour of Poole Arts studio and exhibition space on the north side of Santa Fe as well as experiencing a lively and engaging introduction to the world of monumental bronze casting by the husband and wife collaborative sculpting team, Colin and Kristine Poole. The Pooles create sculpture from the petite to the monumental in bronze, fired clay and sterling silver. The Poole Arts exhibition space adjacent to the studio has over 150 completed oil paintings and sculptures on display. The Pooles will be demonstrating the numerous aspects of the bronze casting and jewelry making processes used in creating monumental bronze sculptures, as well as showing a short movie documenting the process of creating “The Zemp Legacy Monument” recently installed at the The Howell Carnegie District Library in Michigan. Artworks can be seen at http://www.colinpoole.com and http://www.kristinepoole.com
